Two room open plan pub. Main bar serves both the diners and the drinkers. The larger of the two rooms is also used as the function room. Guest beers are sourced from around the Yorkshire region.. Named 2016 Pub of the Year in Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards. Under new management since September 2025 with renewed focus on the pub becoming a welcoming and friendly focus point for the village. Good selection of hand pulled beers with Black Sheep and Sleck Dust as regulars and a rotating range of beers from local breweries such as Great Newsham and also from further afield. Typically 4 hand pulled ales available with further beers, ciders and Guinness on tap.
