A rare gem of a pub in an old industrial area associated with the whaling trade. Continuously licensed since 1791, the present building dates from 1890 though much altered internally. Photos of old Hull pubs and the city's football and rugby league clubs are on display. A free house since 2002, serving up to 5 real ales. A selection of craft and continental ales are available.
