See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Recently refurbished old coaching inn first recorded as a licensed premises in 1724 as the White Hart and renamed after the Duke of Wellington in the 1820’s. An additional storey was added when the Great Yorkshire Show came to Howden in 1864. A raised restaurant area to the right of the entrance complements a small comfortable bar to the left. A small room off the corridor to the rear tarmacked garden area, doubles as the hotel reception. Tuesday is quiz night. Three cask beers are offered, Old Mill Traditional Bitter, one from Old Mill's regular portfolio, and one Old Mill seasonal ale.
