Opened in 2013 by a CAMRA member, Chequers is a small and friendly pub just off the main Saturday market area of Beverley centre. Features one room on two levels with a small outdoor drinking area. Ian and his staff are passionate about what they do and always try to provide an interesting and varied selection of cask ales. Each of the four handpulls always serves a specific beer style - IPA, Pale, Dark (stout/porter/dark mild) and Bitter. Also seven craft keg lines serving wide variety of beers, including strong IPA.
